PG Flow Solutions has invested in a new laser cutting machine to enable shorter delivery times and further improved product quality, to the benefit of the company’s customers.
While mobility in Norwegian society is heavily restricted to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. PG Flow Solutions is taking necessary precautions to maintain the company’s ability to deliver. Amongst other things, this means that office personnel are working from home to allow shop floor workers to operate close to full capacity at the company’s manufacturing facilities in Sande, Vestfold, Norway.
To further enhance the company’s execution capabilities, PG Flow Solutions has recently invested in state-of-the-art laser cutting machine; BySmart Fiber 6000.
It has been a fast track project, led by mechanical designer Preben Moe. Preparations have included expansion of parking lot to establish a new place for storage, nw concrete foundation for a large nitrogen tank, installation of an oxygen battery as well as new power for the BySmart machine.
The laser cutting machine is now up and running and one of PG Flow Solutions’ operators, Jan Kåre Kjellesvik, is very excited and satisfied with how the new machine works: “The machine is efficient, fast and some will say the best of the best laser cutters. We are very proud of our new machine and our dedicated coworkers, both to ensure improved delivery time and increased quality.”
